A good compliment is accepted by everyone but a nasty remark, or just two hurtful words can take away a smile from anyone's face. As humans, our attitude commands us to think more than twice before appreciating someone but our tongue won't stop a second in backbiting, underestimating or hurting someone......
It is important for us to understand that spoken words can't be retrieved, therefore we should think before we speak. Hurting someone will have you labelled a mean person, appreciating others will encourage others to do good and in a better manner.
Thoughtless words spoken by a man or a woman, no matter how independent or dignified he or she be, can have a negative effect on the speaker and the listener. The ice then created just because of a few words cannot be broken easily and the distance grows.
On the other side of things, two heartfelt or consoling words can help the eyes from watering, can help a heart from breaking and most importantly can help a frown change into a smile. However, mistakes are common in human behaviour, mistakes make us what we are, it differntiates us from God. If we wouldn't commit mistakes we would not be humans, we would be more than that.
Therefore, even if blurt out some negative comments or words it shouldn't take too much of our time to apologize and just say 'sorry'........For 'sorry' is a word that can help reduce the greatest distance, it can help in wiping the most negative vibes, although it may not help very much in healing a hurt or drawing back a tear......
It is therfore important for us to remember never to utter words that give others pain, for wounded hearts are broken and may never heal again.....
Adios! Cheers!
